Leading countryside dating website, Muddy Matches has won a number of awards since it launched in 2007. The awards recognise the work of sisters Emma and Lucy Reeves to create and run a niche dating site that allows country-minded people to meet for friendship and dating. Muddy Matches has received recognition at both a local and national level.
Online Dating Help Niche Dating Award - 2014
Dating review site Online Dating Help selected Muddy Matches as the best Niche Dating Website of 2014. Co-owner of the site, Aet Suvari said: “Muddy Matches have created a wonderfully unique dating site for countryside-loving folks everywhere.”
Small Business Sunday Award - 2013
Muddy Matches was chosen as a winner of the Small Business Sunday Awards by Theo Paphitis on 17th March 2012. Our winning tweet to @theopaphitis said: "Independent countryside dating agency Muddy Matches has helped thousands of rural singles to find love".
Countryside Alliance Award Regional Rural Enterprise Award - 2010
Muddy Matches won the 2010 Countryside Alliance Award Regional Rural Enterprise Award for the Midlands area for the second year running. Countryside Alliance Awards Midlands head judge Tracy Casstles said: "Muddy Matches is a great example of using the internet to benefit all those who love the countryside".
Countryside Alliance Award Regional Rural Enterprise Award - 2009
Muddy Matches won the 2009 Countryside Alliance Award Regional Rural Enterprise Award for the Midlands area. Co-founders Emma and Lucy Reeves were nominated for the Country Life Awards in the category ‘Country person – Someone who has made a real difference to rural life’. They were nominated for "connecting like-minded people with rural interests or backgrounds who might not otherwise have the time or opportunity to meet people".
East of England Business Woman of the Year Awards
Co-founder Lucy Reeves was named as Young Business Woman of the Year in the East of England Business Woman of the Year Awards for launching niche online dating website Muddy Matches in 2007.
Practical Farm Ideas - 2008
Muddy Matches was awarded a Practical Farm Ideas Agri-web Award for creating "a great site for farming folk".
