Chinese Whispers

Those of you keeping an eye on what we were up to in Wales would have seen that we went to the Plough Inn in St Asaph to hold a Pub Social. To quote us in our itinerary, “apparently this pub is a farmer’s hotspot”. Err…it wasn’t…far from it, in fact!

We’re not sure how we got our wires so crossed but it might have been something to do with good old Chinese Whispers and one of us taking ‘local’ to mean ‘country’ and the fact that it has a misleading ‘country’ name! It was very local to where we spent the day anyway.

Thought we’d best explain it in case any of you know the pub and were wondering what we were on when we wrote that. We had a very entertaining night anyway, looking extremely underdressed in our jeans and Muddy Matches shirts and drinking cocktails in their Cocktail Lounge.
