Multi-generational living

Channel 4 is making a new, prime-time series about multi-generational living and we were wondering if there were any muddies out there who fit the bill…you never know, it may be a great opportunity to promote a new rural business?
They’re looking for large groups of families and/or friends who are planning to pool resources in order to buy, and live in, a dream home. The idea is that things such as child-care, finances, working life and leisure time all become easier if they are shared. It also means people can live in an amazing house that they would otherwise not be able to afford on their own.
It’s a really interesting concept as in many cultures three, or even four, generations will share a house but here in the UK & Ireland it is usually a very different story. If you’re interested in finding out more, read on:
Are you thinking of buying a dream home (farm /smallholding) to live in with your extended family or a big group of friends?
Is this going to give you the chance to own and run the small holding or rural business you have always dreamed of?
Have you already found a place to buy? Or are you still looking?
