Public Holiday Announced to Mark the Royal Wedding

Downing Street have just announced that a public holiday will be held on the day of Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton. After the couple had set the date for 29th April 2011, the extra day off was agreed in cabinet this morning. The Scottish government are yet to come back on this, but it does mean that millions of workers are expected to have two days off that week, as the Easter Monday Bank Holiday falls on 25th April 2011. What muddy antics will you be getting up to with all this extra time off?
