When a long term relationship came to an unexpected end, Angela made the bold and brave decision to step into the unknown and give online dating a whirl in the hope of rediscovering romance.
After trying out one of the mainstream online dating websites, she eventually headed down the right country path and landed on the warm, embracing welcome mat of Muddy Matches.
Read about her muddy experience here:
“I found the whole Muddy Matches experience a positive one,” Angela tells us. “It changed my life in such a wonderful way.
It took an open mind and courage to sign up but I am glad to say I found the love of my life. So I would absolutely encourage anyone thinking about joining Muddy Matches to give it a go and have recommended the site to friends.
“I don’t know what I expected when I tried online dating. It was all a bit unfamiliar to me as I had been in a relationship for over 20 years before I unexpectedly found myself on my own again.
Angela’s experience is not a unique one; at Muddy Matches, over 35% of our active members are looking for a second shot at love having been classed divorced or separated. Our job is to reassure through putting a focus on the welfare and safety of our members in everything we do.
With it comes a traditional sense of good manners and common courtesy between members who have much in common.
It was something that Angela found great comfort in.
“I had been on another dating site before but found the matches were from a rather broad spectrum. So I was pleasantly surprised by Muddy Matches and the decent people I met on the site.
I had just returned to Muddy Matches after a period away when Stuart got in touch. I was a bit sceptical because we lived quite a distance apart, but Stuart was prepared to travel so we decided to give it a go.
We just seemed to have so much in common and a shared appreciation of horses and the outdoor life. The “muddiest” thing we do is muck out the stables together most days and we are getting everything pretty muddy as we build new stables.
“Now we are engaged to be married after Stuart proposed on our first anniversary.
