Ti a Fi am byth? Welsh singles flock to Muddy Matches as interest in country life online dating peaks in the hills and valleys.

The great British countryside has stirred emotions for many centuries, and Wales, with more than it’s fair share of picturesque beauty spots, has always inspired romance with its rolling hills, wild moors, legendary valleys and stunning coastline.

From the Gower Peninsula in Carmarthenshire and the Aberglaslyn Gorge to Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons National Park and the meadows of Monmouthshire, it is easy to see why the Welsh have long been a passionate bunch.

Now, as the St Dwynwen’s Day 2022 lovefest (Dydd Santes Dwynwen) – Wales’ own version of Valentine’s Day – appears on the horizon later this January, that same Welsh passion has evolved into a hotbed for countryside love and rural romance.
