Celebratory Royal photo captures the horse love spirit that many mud lovers display on dating profiles.
To mark The Queen’s 96th birthday, the palace, in association with Royal Windsor Horse Show, have issued a gorgeous, commissioned portrait photo of Her Majesty with her two favourite fen ponies.
The country-life rich photograph was taken by Henry Dallal in the grounds of Windsor Castle, earlier in March and beautifully displays the monarch’s renowned equine love.
She stands aside greys’ Bybeck Nightingale and Bybeck Katie, whom, as two of the Queen’s favourite fen ponies, are expected to feature in a 500-strong horse display, titled A Gallop Through History to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
The Queen’s passion for life in the saddle is well known. She has attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show every year since 1943 and is believed to have been an expert in everything equine in her younger years, inspired by her mother.
Here at Muddy Matches country-life dating, we share the lifelong love of equine, and over 50,000 profiles currently active on the dating website make reference to horse love.
Equine hobbies, interests and occupations are among the most popular within the dating profile bios of those mud lovers who choose to date with us.
And, just like the photo issues of the Monarch, profile photos displaying this love are plentiful. This is especially popular with the new generation of female mud lover, with the rise in horse selfies particularly high in daters aged 18-24.
Here is a selection of our recent favourites.
