Searches You Should be doing

Unlike some well-known dating sites we don’t do complicated algorithms to match up our members, we prefer to let our members browse at their leisure. However we thought that it is a good idea to encourage people to use the different search options on the Muddy Matches ‘advanced search’ function.

Basic search

The first search that most people carry out on any dating sites comprises of the following criteria: ‘gender’, ‘age’ and ‘location’. This is a good place to start, however do you really want your reason for dating someone to be that they live in the same area and are a similar age to you? Try to expand the area in which you search to include surrounding counties.

New members

To help you to see who is new to the site, you can click on ‘newest members’. You can even do an advanced search for new members who enjoy the same hobbies as you do, which leads me nicely on to…

Hobbies

As a niche countryside dating website, it will come as no surprise that many of our members enjoy taking part in countryside sports and a whole range of other sports and activities. If your hobby is important to you, you can use the advanced search function to find other members who love the same things as you do.

Background

If your potential partner’s religion is important, you can search by ‘background’ to find people who share the same religion as you do.

Make sure that you appear in people’s searches by going to ‘my profile’ and ticking all the boxes that apply to you.
