Don’ts

Write an essay – Writing too much is as bad as writing too little. The ideal amount is approximately 300 words. If you write a draft of your profile in a word processing package like Word, you can use a word count to check the length.

Mention your ex – Talking about your ex shows that you are not over them, regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

Share personal details – Adding your phone number, email address or social media details in your profile might seem like a smart way to avoid paying for membership, but it means that anyone can get in contact with you, whether you like it or not.
