Winter Date Ideas
Sunday, November 22nd, 2015
There’s frost on the ground and Christmas presents in the shops, which must mean that it’s time for some winter themed date ideas.
Christmas market
We’re always saying that your first date should be in a busy public place and should be somewhere where you can talk freely. A Christmas market fits in perfectly with this criteria.
Grab a mulled wine, or a hot chocolate and take a look at the stands in your nearest Christmas market, or head to a big city for a more spectacular display.
Ice skating
At this time of year, ice skating rinks start popping up everywhere, so it’s the perfect excuse to get your skates on with your date.
It also encourages a bit of hand holding if either of you are a bit wobbly on the ice!
Carol concert
Grab a copy of your local newspaper and find out where your nearest carol concert is. You won’t get to talk to each other when the concert is going on, but it’s a nice way to spend a second date together before going for a drink to catch up.
Winter walk
Again, this one is not ideal for a first date as we wouldn’t recommend heading into the woods with someone that you don’t know, but it is a nice idea for when you get to know each other a bit better.
Wrap up warm, put on some grippy footwear if it’s icy and enjoy a frosty morning walk together.
