You need to meet like-minded people

One persons weirdo is another person’s perfect match, you just need to find someone who shares your obsession, or at least understands why you are obsessed with it.

When you are desperate to impress someone it can have the exact opposite effect. The person who is behaving strangely around you might just be very nervous.
