We felt lucky to have found each other…

“In February 2011 Chris and I met on your website. We had both been on our own after divorces and begun to think we would never find someone we clicked with. However after initially making contact by email then talking on the telephone on Valentine day we met on 25th February.

We got on like a house on fire and our relationship bloomed. Interests shared new adventures developed. Our love was tested however when he was diagnosed with cancer in December 2013. Through last year until August he had treatment that was unsuccessful and fought to have more time with me. I nursed him until he had a stroke and was admitted to hospital, dying 3 days later. We felt lucky to have found each other and fallen in love truly being the best of friends as well as lovers and only wished we had met years earlier.

No regrets. My advice to others would be to value the time you have with loved ones, hold them tight, tell them how much you love them always and laugh lots. Wishing you all well in your search for happiness.”  Beverley
