Love it or loathe it, Valentine’s Day is firmly upon us. Whether you think it’s just an excuse for shops to flog cards, chocolates and meal-for-two dinners, or the perfect way to show that special someone how much you care for them, it’s certainly got our Muddy members busy with thousands of new joiners and tens of thousands of messages sent. Here are a select few of those that found happiness…

A dream come true

“My husband and I would like to thank Muddy Matches for helping us find each other and it wouldn’t have been possible with out you! In spring 2016 Tom and I joined Muddy Matches around the same time. We’d both given up hope of finding anyone close to what we were both looking for in life and love. We were both very hesitant of joining a dating site but Muddy Matches made it very easy and safe. I found Tom within two weeks of joining and couldn’t believe how much we had in common and how we shared the same dreams for life. We hit it off straight away!

Tom was living in America at the time so it started as a long distance relationship talking every day. After four very long months we finally met and – wow – it was like being reunited. We just were so natural together and completely head over heels for one another. After ten months back and forth every month seeing each other and our love growing ever stronger, Tom asked me to marry him in December while spending our first Christmas together in Scotland. I returned to America with Tom as we did not want to waste another minute apart!

We were married in the little village I grew up in November last year. We truly feel we have found our soulmate in one another and we are undoubtably best friends too. We are looking to return to Scotland to continue our dream of living there on a small farm. We would like to thank Muddy Matches for all their input and help.
