‘Life couldn’t be any better’ for muddy Welsh couple.

Welsh couple Emma and Mark talk of a new chapter in muddy life together, two years after matching online whilst country life dating.

The Muddy Matches team were delighted to hear from Welsh singles Emma and Mark this week.  They contacted us through social media with an update on their new life together, as a country couple in muddy boots.

80% muddy Emma met smallholder Mark online, whilst country life dating with us, back in the June, 2020 as both sought new chapters in love and life after separation.

Emma had upped sticks from the city to ‘live the good life’ in Carmarthen , South West Wales, and was on the lookout for fellow rural singles, after joining in July 2019. She is an all action woman, with a hand in farming, butchery, festivals, events hosting and project management!

Up step honeybee keeping enthusiast, and former poultry farmer, Mark, who at 70% muddy, lived 25 miles across Dyfed, in Ammanford. He hoped to unearth someone to ‘share the highs and lows of life’ with.

Mark’s countryside credentials were plentiful, and included nurturing a small orchard on his smallholding,

The rural singles quickly connected over a shared love of Welsh Collie pups, bird watching, country walks around the Welsh peninsula, and giant poly tunnels!

From there it progressed offline, and they have now moved in together.

“Life is the best it has been for years”, Emma beams.

“I had no intention of finding someone serious, but I wanted to engage with fellow farming people. Within days I was matching with like-minded thinkers.

“Not long after signing up I found my soul mate with an incredibly similar story to my own.”

“Two years on, and one farm has been sold; livestock and equipment transported to our other farm. Life couldn’t be any better.”

It has been welcome change for Emma and Mark, both of whom were new to the online dating scene having come out of long term relationships.
