Charlotte & Martin marry after muddy matching online

The Muddy Matches team love a good countryside wedding, especially when it’s between a country couple we inspired to get together.

So, you can imagine our delight when gundog trainer Charlotte, and her long term muddy match Martin, got in touch to let us know they recently tied the knot in a rural setting, fitting of how they met.

Charlotte mutually matched with Martin whilst farmer dating with us in 2015. After that initial online connection, theirs has been a thoroughly muddy, and meaningful relationship, ever since.

Speaking to us via social media, self confessed ‘crazy dog lady’ Charlotte said “Myself and Martin met on Muddy Matches nearly eight years ago. We got married on 26 April in a shoot lodge on the estate we live on.”

Despite Charlotte having roots in the Home Counties, the newly weds live and work in Pitlochry, on the River Tummel, in Perthshire, where Martin is head groundsman on a 2500 acre field sports rich estate.
