When South Yorkshire single Julia met Geoff whilst country life dating in March 2020, she littered the messages with questions designed to unearth more about her ‘perfect match’.

It worked; now the country couple are engaged to get married, after Geoff posed a question of his own in a Christmas Day proposal.

“It was very romantic” says 80% muddy Julia. “I never expected to meet someone so perfect for me. I met my soulmate on Muddy Matches, and we get married in three weeks time.

“We are eloping to Gretna Green, just the two of us, next month to tie the knot.

It was definitely a case of job done, and we are delighted Julia and George have flown the next together.
