And one ‘little wink’ from her, earlier this year, was all it took to have her mutual match James hooked as well.

Now the pair of outdoorsy singles have flown the online dating nest of Muddy Matches to pursue their connection offline.

We were delighted to recently hear an update from Kate, who at 80% muddy, ‘fun, busy and a bit bonkers’, had been dating with us since Autumn 2022.

Keen to meet someone ‘likeminded’ with an appreciation for nature and ‘wild weather’, Kate said, in her dating profile with us, that she was ‘yearning for some male company.’

She found just the right sort on Muddy Matches. And he was just up the road.

James, a dog-loving Dad of four, had joined just three days earlier, eager to ‘live life to the full in every way.’
